2015 celebrates the 25th edition of the

Mitchelton Bay Cycling Classic

2-5 January 2015

Hello cycling fans (around the world),

I didn't realise when I started this event in 1989 that it would grow into what is now recognised as the world's fastest criterium series. I have had great pleasure in watching some of our fine young talent grow into some of the world's best and I have taken real pride in the rise and rise of the women's series.

I would like to thank all my fantastic sponsors, who make this happen each year and also to all of you for playing a part in the growth, of not just this event, but cycling in Australia. Our cycling has continued to flourish - on the international scene and at home.

The 2015 Bay Cycling Classic has a different and exciting format. It has only one men's support race - and it will be open to teams and individuals. But we are hosting Junior and Masters events as well which should provide some fantastic action.

I wish you all a prosperous and safe 2015.
